Since Beer Ground Unam Branch just opened, they're running an opening event with takeout fried chicken for ₩12,000!!!

Inside Beer Ground Unam Branch: atmosphere and seating
True to a newly opened spot, the tables were spaced generously and the place felt really pleasant! Since most tables seat 4 or more, it seemed great for group gatherings or watching sports with chicken and beer!
How big is the menu at Beer Ground Unam Branch?
At Beer Ground, if it's not on the menu, it doesn't exist — everything else is! Seriously so varied. Pizza, chicken, stews, fruit and more. It looks like a good spot for a second round, but it works just as well as your first stop!
The basic side dish, chicken feet crackers, plus pickled radish and cabbage salad, the classic chicken pairing! Since chicken is the main event, the fundamental side dishes hit the spot!
Four TVs for watching games in Unamtteul
Good for cheering on sports, right, like I mentioned earlier? With 4 big TVs you can watch a game other than the one you're rooting for, right? But at Beer Ground, whether it's the game you're cheering for or another one happening at the same time, you can watch them simultaneously, which was so great!
Four draft beers and highballs: what they cost
4 kinds of draft beer? Asahi black, Asahi lager, Terra, and Kirin. Feels like you wouldn't even need to go to Japan. You can drink whichever draft suits your taste!
And draft beer at ₩7,500 discounted down to ₩5,900?! How could you not drink it?
They've got every kind of drink to match your taste, seriously!!! You really couldn't say 'Beer Ground didn't have what I like so I couldn't drink' here!
And highballs too... The owner is really serious about drinks... Various soju, beer, even highballs..... Really good not just for a second or third round but as a first-round work dinner, and I'd recommend it for club or group meetups too!
How was the pa-dak (green onion fried chicken)?
The pa-dak (green onion fried chicken) I ordered arrived! Look at the color of the batter. You could just tell it was fried in genuinely clean oil. None of the recent delivery chicken I've had had this kind of color. Truly clean, through and through!
Since it's pa-dak, a bite with the green onions on top~ and let's try a plain bite of the drumstick too! Cheap didn't mean small or lacking at all, which I loved.
It was near the drumstick meat, and the perfect size to pair with beer! And that crispy batter... absolute perfection...
Chicken breast can be hard to eat if it's a big, thick piece, right? Here the size was just right and it pulled apart soft and easy, not overwhelming at all, just perfect to eat.
I think chicken that's good even in the breast is truly good chicken, and I got to taste that at Beer Ground Unam Branch.
Since the sauce is applied, it would naturally get soggy over time, but the crispy batter texture stayed alive.
Mixed fries at Beer Ground Unam Branch
The mixed french fries! The chicken-frying skill here is no joke, and it was hard to find any fault with the fries either. Delicious even on their own....
All these different fries practically call for beer... but since I visited on a weekday... worried about the next day, I couldn't drink even one glass.
What's in the kimchi fish cake udon?
Next up! Kimchi eomuk udon (kimchi fish cake noodle soup)! With summer basically over and the nights getting chilly, I ordered this to get ready for winter!
It's udon but packed with a variety of ingredients, right? It needs to simmer bubbling first, so let's wait a bit!
There are dumplings too, which I love! And the udon noodles are generously portioned, no skimping!
And skewered fish cake... even though it seems minor, it's so tasty once you try it. You'd feel let down without it. But the owner clearly gets that need exactly right!!!
No matter how much I eat, it doesn't seem to run out....
The portions are generous overall, and given today's prices, the menu is packed with great value, so ordering a few different dishes to share seems like a good approach!
Parking and how to get to Beer Ground Unam Branch
Since Beer Ground Unam Branch is located in Unamtteul, the entrance leads in from the Undam public parking lot! Easy to park and just walk right in! The sign has bright text on a red background, so it was easy to spot!
