Is there a Bueokgan Restaurant in Yangsan now?
Yes! The famous Bueokgan Restaurant (부엌간 레스토랑) has finally opened at Oslo Park in Yangsan. The original is in Dalmaji in Busan, and the same group also runs a café and a Chinese restaurant, and I was happy with all of them.
It was always a pity that they were only in Haeundae, Gijang and Marine City, so when one opened in Yangsan, close to home, I ran over right away. It's near Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital, so it's a great stop if you're in the area. Here's my review.

What is the atmosphere like at Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan?
Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch has high ceilings and a roomy space with interiors that feel like you've landed in Europe. Yangsan didn't have a restaurant quite like this, and visiting on a relaxed weekday made it feel really, truly calm and lovely.
There's a variety of tables, and every little prop is pretty, so it's fun just to look around.

Can you bring kids to Bueokgan Restaurant?
This branch isn't a no-kids zone but a welcome-kids zone, so high chairs are ready, and they'll bring children's tableware if you ask. Good good!
Oslo Park is easy to park at, so I always visit comfortably. The BL building's central plaza connects directly to the parking lot, so access is great.

Sunlight pours in through the big windows, and the museum-like interior makes it good for a family meal and a nice Yangsan date spot too. Today I was without the kids, enjoying a happy me-time, so the brunch was even more fun. Hahaha

What we ordered for weekday brunch at Bueokgan Restaurant
This time I ordered the shrimp rosé pasta, arugula prosciutto pizza and abalone cream risotto. Bueokgan has so many tasty dishes that I always agonize, and I picked ones I'd never tried before.
Signature dishes include the napa cabbage Caesar salad, truffle gnocchi (potato dumplings), jambon pizza and Bueokgan steak, so if you haven't been before, picking from those is a good idea too :)

You order on the tablet at the table, and it's handy that you can also request things like children's tableware through it. The staff were super kind.

Shrimp rosé pasta
Our dishes arrived! First, the tableware is so classy it put me in a good mood right away. The shrimp rosé pasta was loaded with plump shrimp and full of mellow tomato flavor.

Abalone cream risotto
The abalone cream risotto had lots of abalone to chew on. They don't skimp on ingredients, so the texture really comes through, and it wasn't fishy but nutty and rich, the kind you keep eating!
Best dish of the day: wood-fired arugula prosciutto pizza
Today's best pick is this arugula prosciutto pizza! Baked in a wood-fired oven, the dough is light yet chewy, loaded with cheese so the flavor really pops, and it's piled with the fresh arugula I love, so it was just plain delicious haha. Thumbs up all around!

Is Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan worth a return visit?
The three dishes went well together, so it was a brunch we could enjoy in a lot of different ways :) I'm glad a nice new brunch spot has opened near Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital.
When I come to Oslo Park in Yangsan to shop or visit the kids' café, I'll stop by again with my child. With such a variety of dishes, Bueokgan Restaurant is a good choice with kids too.
