Why I got a head spa after perms and dye wore out my scalp

After a full dye, a jelly perm and a baby-hair perm back to back, I went to Levia Hair, a hair salon near Bucheon City Hall Station, for a head spa. My scalp has been in terrible shape lately, ugh. Both my scalp and my hair were totally exhausted, so I made the big decision to go!!

Levia Hair is a hair salon on the 3rd floor of City Office building, 221 Gilju-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon. Come out of Exit 5 of Bucheon City Hall Station and walk straight: it's only 3 minutes, really close and easy to find!! It's closed on Sundays and Mondays!!

I loved the clean, spacious interior. It looks bright and feels airy! The senior stylist looked after me herself, and from the first consultation she checked my scalp carefully and even looked at the condition of my hair, which made me trust her haha

At Levia Hair I lay in a massage chair for the whole head spa. They even covered me with a fluffy blanket, so I felt wrapped in warmth down to my toes haha The legs section has a foot care function too, and as I gave myself over to the chair I could feel the tension melting away~

Which products were used for the oily scalp scaling?

My scalp is naturally oily, so scalp scaling was a must for me ㅠㅠ The stylist checked my hair condition carefully too and went with a line that gives nourishment~

The brand used at Levia Hair was AYUNCHE (아윤채). She used the Refining Clear Shampoo, Rebalancing Fresh Shampoo, Pro Scalp Descaler and Derma Calming Mask.

She applied the products generously, plenty of it, to suit my scalp and hair!!

The Levia Hair head spa started with products applied to the scalp and warm steam, and it was so relaxing haha After that she cared for my scalp thoroughly with gentle hands, a cool yet comfortable touch, and I actually drifted off.. lol

She added red light care too, so the whole shampoo was pure healing!! And I loved that the senior stylist took care of every single step herself.. Most places leave it to the staff ㅠㅠ

How my scalp felt after the oily scalp scaling

My oily scalp, always heavy and clumpy, felt much lighter and refreshed~ Even the line below the crown, which my fingers never reach no matter how carefully I wash, got done in a flash!!!

Not-so-secret: the trickle of water sounded like white noise.. (deep sleep.. lol) My scalp and hair, worn out from perms and dye, felt gently revived~ So silky!~~

Finally, with acupressure, she softly massaged my neck and trapezius line, which had worked hard (?) while I lay there.. Her gentle hands moved me ㅠㅠ A 40-minute treatment went on for over 50 minutes~

Design cut consultation to cover a wide forehead

The design cut was totally great too!!

After the head spa at Levia Hair, I also got a design cut to cover my wide forehead. As you can see in the photos, my forehead is so wide that I've had a baby-hair perm and even scalp tattooing ㅜㅜ (I want hair transplants..) so it's hugely stressful..

The stylist styled my hair around my worry and gave a very detailed consultation on how to grow out my bangs so they cover the wide forehead without feeling stuffy, then did the design cut..!! It's a pain only people with this worry understand..ㅠㅠ so I was even more grateful that she understood and sympathized..!!

Is the Levia Hair head spa worth recommending?

Levia Hair is great at cuts as well as scalp care!! I was so satisfied that I'd happily count it as a paid-with-my-own-money visit.
