Guro, Seoul bar for choco bomb bingsu and a T-ara request: Eulji Pocha

After round one in Gudi (Guro Digital Complex), I went looking for a round-two spot and Eulji Pocha caught my eye, so here we are! First, the snacks are great value, and the events around the place were so much fun haha. You can request songs too, which made it even better!! We came as a group of friends, requested songs and just played around, and it was a blast. And here's the unusual part: when you order food, they give you coins, and you can use them for gacha (capsule toys), ice cream or snacks haha. Total fun.

Where is Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch?

Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch (을지포차 구로디지털점) is about 3 minutes from Guro Digital Complex Station Exit 2. It's so close that it'd be easy to set up a meetup here. A bar near the station is the best!!

The sign alone gives off a total retro vibe, right?? And at the entrance there's a retro TV like this. The owner seems hip,,, they had every trend going haha. And even on a weekday evening there were sooo many customers. You'd probably have to wait on Fridays and Saturdays!!

The inside is super retro and really, really spacious, so I think it'd be a fun place for a company dinner too!! You could play the songs your boss wants to hear...^^

Order coins for the claw machine and ice cream

What's neat is that, haha, they give you coins depending on how much you order? You can use them for the claw machine, buy ice cream and so on, and the events were so much fun hahaha.

Song requests at the record booth: our pick was T-ara's Sexy Love

Eulji Pocha also has a record booth where you can request music with a request form!! Events like this are the best, right? (The young ones were playing KiiiKiii and CORTIS, and we played T-ara's Sexy Love^^ Sorry, aunties, that song is ours...)

Eulji Pocha menu: good for a first or second round?

The snacks at Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch are such good value! There are main dishes like soups and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), but also lots of light round-two snacks like bingsu, Saewookkang (shrimp crackers) and meoktae (dried pollack), which I loved. So it works great for round one or round two!!!

I love a bar that sells bingsu and ice cream. When I drink, I always crave cold bingsu or ice cream?! And if you post an Instagram story there's a roulette event too, so everyone join in!

How do the sulguk and chocolate bomb bingsu taste?

At Eulji Pocha we ordered the sulguk and the chocolate bomb bingsu! I was only photographing the sulguk, and my friend said the soju has to be in the shot too,,,, haha, and held it up for me herself hahaha.

The sulguk (a soup to eat with drinks) was better than I expected! The meat inside was tender and the broth was spicy and kicky, so it's perfect with alcohol, right? haha

Next up, the chocolate bomb bingsu!!! The look is amazing, right? haha It's a real chocolate bomb!!! It's full of Chex Choco, Choco Songyi and other chocolate snacks, which I loved haha. And what's that ice cream on top,,,? That ice cream was seriously so good!!

All our coins on gacha, and no luck

Eulji Pocha gives you coins every time you order, and you can spend them on gacha, ice cream or snacks! We went all in on gacha and, of course, failed!!!!! haha

Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is open daily from 17:00 to 06:00 the next day, with last order at 05:00. Wow, amazing,,,, open until 6am, a precious bar indeed!!

I think it'd be so much fun when friends stay out late haha. You can hear the music you want!! Play gacha too!! It's open almost until morning, so you could go from round one all the way to round four. The snacks were decent and the various events were so much fun haha.
