Isn't the weather so moody lately? I recently went for brunch near Cheongdam-dong, and the interior was so classy and memorable that I had to write about it! It felt like being abroad, with that exotic vibe. The place is called 'Osteria Eden', in Gangnam, Seoul.

What's the interior of Osteria Eden like? High ceilings and plant-filled windows

Osteria Eden isn't far from Apgujeongnodeo Station, and it gave off a high-end feel from the outside already ✨

Inside, the interior caught my eye right away, like a European café. The biggest charm of Osteria Eden is the high ceilings and the big-window view! The sunlight pouring through the glass mixes with all the plants inside, and it felt like stepping into a garden 🌳
The space also doesn't feel stuffy at all. It's open and relaxed, and there were couples spending cozy time together, family gatherings, and people having important meetings. There are even private rooms, so I'd recommend it as a party room or meeting room!

This was our spot! You could see they'd put thought into every detail, from the water glasses to the dishes 🤍 There was a big mirror next to us, so of course I took a photo right away 📷
Osteria Eden menu and how to order

The menu at Osteria Eden is varied, from brunch to starters, steaks, pasta, salads and grill dishes! What we ordered that day was the Hanwoo 1++ white handkerchief pasta, prawn aglio e olio, and Caesar salad.

Ready to welcome the delicious food 🤗 That day we ordered the signature Hanwoo 1++ handkerchief pasta, another pasta, and a salad. They brought us a tablet, so ordering was easy!!

Starter bread: crisp outside, chewy inside, dipped in olive oil
The bread served before the meal at Osteria Eden was crispy outside like a baguette and chewy inside! The more I chewed, the more plain and nutty it tasted, exactly my style. Dipping it in olive oil takes the flavor up another level ⬆ It was so good I almost kept asking for refills 🍞

Caesar salad: thick country bacon and radish
Osteria Eden's Caesar salad comes with thinly sliced country bacon and Caesar dressing. The first thing I noticed was the thick bacon in it! The big pieces were crisp outside and juicy inside, great to chew, and each bite spread a smoky aroma and rich juices. The radish I bit into here and there kept my mouth feeling fresh, so I kept reaching for more.

Prawn aglio e olio: prawns with a charcoal aroma
The prawn aglio e olio is a pasta based on charcoal-grilled prawns and extra virgin olive oil. It catches your eye from the looks alone 🍝🦐 The prawns carry a charcoal aroma, and the garlic in the olive oil mixes with the savory depth of the shrimp, so with the noodles you just keep eating!

Hanwoo 1++ white handkerchief: egg yolk cream sauce and wide fresh pasta
The Hanwoo 1++ white handkerchief is a signature dish made of low-temperature-cooked Hanwoo (Korean beef) 1++, egg yolk, cream sauce, and fresh pasta shaped like a handkerchief. Thinly sliced Hanwoo spread around the edge of the plate.. isn't the plating so pretty? 🤍 The mild beef and the cheese went together so well!
A staff member mixed the yolk in the middle for us and explained the dish 🎀

The wide, handkerchief-shaped fresh pasta was chewy yet soft, and it held the rich sauce so well that the noodles were delicious even on their own.
Is Osteria Eden a good Cheongdam brunch date spot?

I was happy with Osteria Eden from the plating to the taste 🤍 In an interior full of European charm, I thought once again that it would be great for celebrating a special day with a partner or for a get-together! If you want to relax with tasty food while looking out the sunny big windows, I recommend Osteria Eden, a brunch date spot in Apgujeong!
