Bucheon Chinese restaurant: mustard-sauce cold noodles at Glory Works
In short
Glory Works (글로리웍스) is a Chinese restaurant on a main road near Exit 8 of Sangdong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. Glory Works, one of my favorite restaurants in Bucheon, a Chinese place I love! This is about my third visit, and every time there's no disappointment. I'm always satisfied, and my family enjoys it too! All I can think is that I hope a restaurant like this sticks around for a long, long time! Cheap prices, great food quality and taste. Glory Works, the Sangdong Station favorite~!

Glory Works exterior and atmosphere
Glory Works, near Sangdong Station, is a Chinese restaurant, but it doesn't have that old-style Chinese restaurant look where you expect a dragon to pop out. The exterior reminded me of a pretty café. You can check the menu from outside, too. There's a huge variety of jjamppong and other dishes.

Quiet right after break time, packed in the evening
Glory Works sits on a main road a short walk from Exit 8 of Sangdong Station, and its big glass windows let you see outside clearly from inside. Break time is 3 to 5, and we walked in right after it ended, so it was quiet.

Then once dinner time came, the customers suddenly poured in! Haha. Solo diners, family groups too. Word must be out that it's a Sangdong Station favorite, haha.
How much is the menu at Glory Works?
The most basic dish, jjajangmyeon, starts at ₩8,000!! That's great in these days of high prices.

- Jjajangmyeon ₩8,000
- Seafood jjamppong ₩10,000 (₩8,000 as a single order thanks to the Boknal event when we visited!)
- Meat jjamppong ₩12,000
- Algogi (roe) jjamppong ₩12,000
- Seafood udon ₩10,000
- Noodle and fried rice dishes can all be upgraded to a larger portion, +₩2,000 each!

The à la carte dishes are varied too: garlic tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), yuringi (fried chicken with sauce), kkanpunggi (spicy fried chicken), chili shrimp, cream shrimp and more. There are set menus at very reasonable prices too, so next time a set menu might be a good idea!
What the three of us ordered: a set + Chinese cold noodles
There were 3 of us, so we ordered the set menu (garlic tangsuyuk + jjajangmyeon + jjamppong) and my brother's pick, the Chinese cold noodles! His pick was seriously the highlight... heh heh

They're also running a Naver receipt review event, so it's worth joining. And if you search for Glory Works on Naver, there are several coupons, so use them if they apply to you! There's a 10% birthday discount coupon too!
Why I order the garlic tangsuyuk at Glory Works every time
First to arrive at Glory Works was the crispy garlic tangsuyuk~~

I always order this garlic tangsuyuk whenever I visit. The fried coating is thin and the meat inside is really plump. It gives me the feeling that they make their food honestly. The sauce has crushed garlic in it, and it's really delicious.

The set's jjajangmyeon and seafood jjamppong
And that completes one set~! Jjajangmyeon, seafood jjamppong and garlic tangsuyuk!

The jjajangmyeon comes with one cute egg on top, haha. The seafood jjamppong was spicy with lots of seafood on top, and Mom was really happy eating it.
What do the Chinese cold noodles at Glory Works taste like?
And today's best menu item~ the Chinese cold noodles at Glory Works~~

The Chinese cold noodles come with both mustard sauce and peanut sauce, so you dip them however you like, and the cold noodles with the mustard sauce had a different kind of charm~~~

The squid in the Chinese cold noodles, hahaha. Glory Works, the Bucheon favorite my family always enjoys so much! Always recommended, recommended!
