As the branch name suggests, it's right near Chungbuk National University, and you can park right in front of the shop. You can feel the retro vibe even from the outside! I heard Eopcheonri Coffee is famous for its retro atmosphere and wide range of desserts and drinks, so let me hurry in!

Inside Eopcheonri382 on a rainy day

Maybe because it was raining, the inside felt even more atmospheric. The staff greeted us kindly, and even though lunchtime was just ending, quite a few customers kept coming in, including families with kids. Looks like a place everyone from kids to grown-ups can enjoy, right?! The seating layout was tidy too.

Kiosk ordering options: bread, can lid and ice

You order at the kiosk inside, and what I ordered is shown above. A few things I liked: you can choose between white bread and rye bread for the sandwich, you can choose an easy-open lid or a can opener for the canned drink, and you can even pick your ice option, and more! What was in the takeout: ham cheese sandwich, Cheongdo dried persimmon, yakgwa

I opened everything before eating in the car. Don't you think I put together a great dessert lineup? A neatly wrapped sandwich, Eopcheonri's Cheongdo dried persimmon, and yakgwa (traditional honey cookie) too!

The sandwich was stuffed like a fat sandwich, with fresh vegetables, ham, cheese and tomato. The staff member must be fast, because they whipped up a sandwich in no time at all. The looks were insane haha

The yakgwa and dried persimmon are so cute too! Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch is a great stop when you're heading far like me, or when you need snacks for a picnic. The menu is varied, making good use of regional specialties, so anyone can take away something tasty.

1L Bok iced tea shot: the right size for a long drive

My boyfriend's pick was the Eopcheonri382 Bok iced tea shot (복티샷), and I got it in 1L, the volume is huge! Perfect for a long drive, I'd say! The 1L container has a straw hole and is a reusable tumbler type, which made it even better. You could keep using it for water or coffee for a long time! Above all, the iced tea and coffee were blended well, sweet and slightly bitter, and so delicious.

How does Eopcheonri382's chamoe (Korean melon) latte taste?

This little minx of a chamoe latte (참외밭라떼) had a menu description saying "Warning: insanely delicious!!!", so I figured it had to be a safe bet and ordered it, and it's truly amazing! It tastes just like rich, deep Korean melon, the milk makes the thickness just right, and you even chew bits of melon flesh, which adds texture. I think I'm about to become a regular at Eopcheonri382 just for the melon latte 😁

The ham and cheese sandwich, packed with fresh vegetables, hardly needs explaining. It tasted full of freshness, so this was a success too!
