Omokgyo Chinese restaurant with a self-serve jjachai bar: Yugwanjang
Yugwanjang Banjeom Omokgyo Station Branch is a 24-hour Chinese restaurant on Mokdongdong-ro in Yangcheon, Seoul, inside the Omokgyo Station food alley. The writer came at 8pm with her seven-year-old and ordered cuttlefish jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup), shrimp fried rice and mini tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), helping herself to jjachai (pickled mustard stem) and dishware at the self-serve bar. If you like a fiery jjampong, the cuttlefish jjampong at Yugwanjang Banjeom is the dish to order first.
