Weekend dinner surprise: raw sides at Chung-sil Hoegwan, Sejong BBQ
Chung-sil Hoegwan is a pork belly and stew restaurant in Hansol-dong, Sejong. Visiting on a weekend evening at 7pm and ordering raw pork belly, the writer was surprised when mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) and codari-gui (dried pollock) arrived as side dishes, followed by doenjang stew and hot pot rice. Free underground parking connects right next door, and by the time they left, the place was packed with an outside waiting line.
