Bangi-dong Seoul grill house with a Korean pork sampler: Yukmong

Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch is a grilled meat restaurant in the Bangi-dong food alley of Songpa, Seoul, serving Korean pork and beef alongside seasonal raw fish. After a walk around Seokchon Lake, two diners ordered the Korean pork (handon) sampler set of snowflake pork neck, galbi pork belly and whole skirt-side pork, grilled at the table by staff, plus caviar cheese steamed egg and minari bibim guksu (spicy cold noodles with water dropwort). The pork neck at Yukmong Bangi came out juicy rather than dry, and with private rooms in the basement and group seating for about 40 upstairs, it handles gatherings as easily as dinner for two.
