Gangnam café choco crunch madeleine, autumn rooftop: Selected Nicks
Selected Nicks is a large tiramisu specialty café about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gangnam Station (Shinbundang Line) in Seoul, spread over basement level 1 to floor 3, floor 8 and a rooftop. During the Chuseok season the writer looked over the gift and takeaway tiramisu packages, then took a rooftop seat for classic tiramisu (7,800 won), a decaf iced americano and a choco crunch madeleine. The tiramisu at Selected Nicks was soft and less sweet than expected, a good match for decaf coffee, and the autumn rooftop was popular enough to fill up on a weekday evening.
