No-alcohol cream chicken at a Dal-dong, Ulsan pub: Daehan Beer House

It had been a while since I'd been in Ulsan, and I visited Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong (대한맥주집 울산달동점), a chicken pub and eatery in Dal-dong, Nam-gu. There's a wide variety of chicken, lots of unusual dishes, and the anju (drinking snacks) won me over too, so I came to eat here!! Highly recommended as a place to watch the World Cup in Ulsan!!

Where is Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong and when is it open?

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is at 1F, 29-1 Samsan-ro 241beon-gil, Nam-gu, Ulsan. It's open Monday 18:00-24:00 (last order 23:00), and Tuesday to Sunday 17:00 to 01:00 the next day (last order 00:00).

Can you go to Daehan Beer House without drinking?

You don't have to order alcohol. Since the name says beer house, I wasn't sure whether it was okay not to drink, so I asked, and they said it was fine?! You don't even have to order a drink, just eat comfortably, they said~ Goodgood 👍 Love it ෆ So I went in to have a meal without alcohol.

Parking at Daehan Beer House Daldong

One car can park in front of the shop, and the nearby Daehyeon parking lot is free from 6 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends. I visited at 9 p.m. on a Sunday and there was a spot right in front of the shop, and there was also space in front of the convenience store next door, so I parked there : )

Dal-dong, Ulsan pub with big screens for the World Cup

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong has two big screens plus a TV, so it's the perfect place in Ulsan to watch football or this World Cup‼️✨ There's an umbrella stand at the entrance, and the interior is modern, clean and has a great atmosphere. It's spacious with lots of big tables, and the tables are spaced widely. Group bookings of all kinds are possible⭕ company dinners, group gatherings, venue rental, wedding receptions, first-birthday afterparties and more.

For this Friday, June 19, World Cup match seats are first come, first served from 9 a.m.✅ They open from the morning during the World Cup, so I totally recommend it as a pub and restaurant with screens for watching World Cup matches in Samsan and Dal-dong, Ulsan!! At Daehan Beer House Daldong, the restrooms are inside the pub, separate for men and women. You hate having to go outside to a public restroom, right? It's clean and decorated really prettily. The full-length mirror gives great photos too! haha

They have baby chairs, chargers, a fan and Wi-Fi ⭕️ plus even supplies for birthday parties and a rack to hang your clothes✨

The menu is really varied, and there are lots of unique, unusual dishes you rarely see elsewhere. Totally my style✨ I wanted to eat all the chicken and so many of the anju too, but without alcohol we went for cream chicken!! We ordered boneless Gyeongseong Chicken and chicken feet noodles.

It's a beer house, but there are so many kinds of drinks besides beer. They sell various cream draft beers, beers, cocktail makgeolli, Gyeongju Beopju rice makgeolli, highballs, non-alcoholic highballs, soju, Iljum Jinro and Hwayo. Of course there's Coke and Sprite-style soda, and also Coke Zero and zero soda.

A Dal-dong pub that plays your song requests

Another plus! 🩷Daehan Beer House takes song requests and plays them✨🩷 It's limited to 3 songs per person, and they say requests that wreck the mood, like funny lyrics, trot or heavy metal, are banned haha

Free starter: nurungji (scorched rice crisps)

The basic snack at Daehan Beer House is nurungji (scorched rice crisps) sprinkled with sugar and seasoning?! Maybe that's why, but I don't usually like those hard scorched rice snacks, and yet it was tastier than I expected?? After finishing the chicken I kept grabbing handfuls like dessert haha

How are the stir-fried chicken feet noodles at Daehan Beer House?

The chicken feet noodles came out first!! I've honestly gone crazy for chicken feet lately, even though I never used to eat them haha. I really like them and eat them often. It's a chicken place, yet they sell chicken feet and even noodles with ramen noodles added in??!! I love ramen noodles too!! Even if the portions are big, I'm definitely ordering two dishes with the chicken!!

The chicken feet are really big and the seasoning has soaked in well, chewy, crunchy and bouncy, so good🩷 By my standards it isn't very spicy, more like the sauce on Jikoba-style seasoned chicken feet??

How to request a song with the QR code

I requested songs while eating, since I've been playing my current favorites on endless repeat. Being able to request songs is so nice🩷🩷🩷 And you don't write it on paper for staff to play; you just add it on a website via the QR code and it plays automatically, which is great❤️

You can only request 3 songs in total, it seems you can request 1 song every 5 minutes, and after a certain time reloading doesn't work, so you have to reconnect through the QR code!

Boneless Gyeongseong Chicken review: Daehan Beer House cream chicken

Next, the cream chicken finally arrived!!! Gyeongseong Chicken‼️ Places that sell cream chicken are really rare and precious, aren't they? I'm a cream maniac. A few days ago I had cream rice noodles, for lunch that day I had cream jjamppong (spicy noodle soup), and for dinner I'm having cream chicken haha 😆😍

Gyeongseong Chicken takes a little while to cook! And a good thing about Daehan Beer House is there's no price difference between bone-in and boneless?! No extra charge for boneless❗️🧡 Great. It has a seriously big amount of cheese. Not lacking at all, so much.

Like this, a spicy-ish red sauce is mixed into the cream sauce, with cheese on top. The chicken is super tender and tastes a bit like grilled chicken. It was a little on the salty side, but so delicious🩷

I also ate seasoned chicken feet topped with cheese haha. And with the ramen noodles too💛 Delicious. I bet rice balls in the chicken feet sauce would be great too (there don't seem to be rice balls). And steamed rice in the cream sauce for a kind of risotto..?🐷🐽 haha I ate almost all the sauce in the cream chicken earthenware pot…👍✨

Squid chicken, Yangchon barbecue, kkudeok-tang!! Corn cheese nachos, fruit salad and so on, honestly I want to try all the chicken. There are so many dishes I want to eat…ㅠㅠ If I lived in Changwon I'd go often ㅠ What a shame 🥲😭
