Aewol bibim noodle restaurant, extra-large mul-bi-naeng: Handam Guksu
Handam Guksu Gwakji Aewol Branch is an ocean-view noodle restaurant on Aewol-ro in Aewol, Jeju. After too much bread on a Jeju trip, the writer craved something spicy and ordered the extra-large dongchimi (radish water kimchi) bibim noodles for 11,000 won and dombe naengsuyuk (chilled sliced pork) for 15,000 won, eating the noodles mixed first and then pouring in the dongchimi broth for a mul-bi-naeng style. The extra-large bowl was almost too full to mix, and wrapping the thin pork slices in the bibim noodles was the best combination.
