Cheongdam pufferfish soup for a sore throat: Bogi-o Boguk
Bogi-o Boguk is a pufferfish restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building near Exit 13 of Cheongdam Station in Gangnam, Seoul, and it serves all day with no break time. On a day with a sore throat, the writer and her boyfriend ordered the Gyeongsang-style stone-pot milbok (fine pufferfish) clear soup, which came with 4-5 big pieces of pufferfish in a broth as refreshing as bean sprout soup and cleared her up right away. Bogi-o Boguk is a good pick whenever you want a hot, clear pufferfish soup to warm up and recover.
