Crispy potato pancake at a Yeongdeungpo Korean pub: Halmae Gireumjip

Halmae Gireumjip Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch is a Korean pub right in front of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station in Seoul, serving lunch dishes such as budae-jjigae (army stew) and jjaglee stew, then jeon (savory pancakes) and Korean drinking snacks in the evening. On this visit the whole potato jeon and Tiger fresh makgeolli were ordered, and the potato jeon was as wide as two adults' hands and stayed crispy like a cracker even after it cooled. Halmae Gireumjip works both as a second-round spot for jeon and makgeolli and as a proper meal.
