Salering Gyodae menu and how to order

The best sellers at Salering Gyodae are the beef belly bibim poke, the smoked duck bibim poke and the grilled chicken thigh bibim poke. I was surprised how many menu items there were, and even more surprised by the number of dressings. The signature dressing is Salering bibim sauce (a spicy-sweet Korean mixing sauce), and each menu item has a recommended dressing, so you can use that as a guide when ordering.

To order, first pick a base: vegetables only, brown barley rice, whole wheat pasta or egg omelet strips. Just switching the base lets you rotate four different bowls a week. Then choose your dressing and toppings, and you're done!

There's also a detox cleanse juice. Having it alongside would probably be a nice detox touch.

And in the evening you can have a beer here too!

Inside Salering Gyodae: good for eating alone?

The inside of Salering Gyodae is super clean and pleasant, with an interior that feels kind of detoxing, haha. I love all the green, and it feels fresh and tidy.

There are single-seat tables that are great for eating alone.

I thought it would be nice to eat here alone while reading a book.

Is the 2-person poke set filling?
What I ordered at Salering Gyodae was the 2-person poke set, made up of 2 poke bowls and 1 chicken wrap. I picked it because it seemed like good value. I chose 2 plain bibim poke bowls, and for the base I went with brown barley rice out of the options of brown barley rice, whole wheat pasta and egg omelet strips, plus the chicken wrap.

My worry was, wouldn't I be hungry after this?! But I wasn't hungry at all. It was more filling than I expected.

Here's the full shot. Pretty generous, right?

How is the Salering chicken wrap?
The chicken wrap at Salering Gyodae is packed with cabbage, and I enjoyed it with the sauce and freshly fried chicken. I thought I'd have to buy the chicken wrap separately next time.

For sauces I chose the signature sauce and the soy sauce.
