Quiet morning coffee shop in Dobong, Seoul with stream views: Uisagye
Uisagye is a café and dessert shop at 178 Uicheon-ro in Dobong, Seoul, right beside Uicheon Stream. Arriving just after the weekday 10:00 opening, at around 10:10, I took in the second-floor window and terrace seats, chose from three coffee beans, and tried the signature chimney bread — chimney gimbap at 8,800 won — with a house-made omija (Korean magnolia berry) ade at 6,000 won. Uisagye is an easy, unhurried stop after a walk or run along Uicheon Stream, and mornings are the quietest time to go.
