Jongno bakery's cream-filled garlic and crisp walnut bread: Munhwa
Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-focused bakery in Jongno, Seoul, about 200 meters from Jongno 3-ga Station and close to the Ikseon-dong hanok street. The garlic bread was packed with cream inside that softened its salty garlic flavor, while the walnut bread had crisp walnuts on the outside and a soft crumb inside. Munhwa Bakery bakes and sells on the same day and donates what is left, which made the visit memorable beyond the bread.
