Yongsan tteokbokki spot, gimmari and organ sundae set: Hyeonseonine
Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a longtime bunsik (Korean street food) restaurant on Hangang-daero 39-gil near Yongsan Station in Seoul. The writer ordered the tteokbokki, fritters and sundae set, dipping gimmari (fried seaweed rice rolls), squid and sweet potato fritters into the tteokbokki broth before moving on to sundae (blood sausage) served with liver and lung. Hyeonseonine is nothing flashy, but it nails the basics — easy for a solo meal and just as good shared with a friend.
