Angry Potato Hyundai Department Store Jungdong Branch is a fries and cheese stick shop in the B1 food hall of Hyundai Department Store Jungdong in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. On a first visit, timed for a weekday afternoon to avoid the wait, the blogger and her husband ordered on staff advice: the Angry Meat and Chipotle Pulled Pork fries combo, Hot Crunch Chicken, Chili's cheese sticks and a milkshake. The couple's favourite was the Chipotle Pulled Pork. With 9 sauces to use as much as you like, Angry Potato is a good place to tailor its well-seasoned fries to your own taste.

P&Chick is a pizza, chicken and pork cutlet restaurant inside Doosan We've the State Complex 3 in Sinjung-dong, Bucheon. On a return visit, the writer paired a large bacon potato pizza with an added cheese crust, spicy tenders and free review-event fries with beer. Opening at 11 a.m., P&Chick suits both daytime drinking and family meals with kids.

Bucheon bakery preservative-free loaf shared with a baby: Easy White

Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is a same-day-baked milk bread bakery an 8-minute walk from Sinjung-dong Station Exit 3, open 9:00 to 21:00. On a weekday visit at 4pm the half-size Golden Beurre loaf was sold out, so the writer waited for the next batch, had it cut to 2cm and took it away with two iced brewed coffees, opening the bag in the car to a rich butter aroma. Made without preservatives, the Golden Beurre loaf was soft enough to share with a baby just past her first birthday.
