Baby-friendly gukbap restaurant near Seonyudo Station: Deundeun
Deundeun Haejanggukbap Seonyudo Station Branch is a Korean gukbap (rice and soup) restaurant on Yangpyeong-ro in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, with the feel of an old countryside soup house, and it had been open about a month at the time of this rainy weekend visit. The family ordered a tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patty) set with spicy sundaeguk (blood sausage soup) and a warm suyuk (boiled pork) set with pork gukbap, helping themselves at the self-serve side dish bar, and found the broth loaded with sundae and the pork tender. Since the baby happily ate the tteokgalbi, Deundeun Haejanggukbap is a family lunch spot worth returning to.
