It's been a while since my mom came to visit my newlywed home, so I wanted to treat her to a delicious lunch! I revisited Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, which I'd already been to earlier this year — here's the review!

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is about a 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Hagye Station, on the 6th floor of the Seoul Oncheon Building right next to the Hagye 1-dong Community Center. Parking is free for up to 2 hours at the Seoul Oncheon Building parking lot, just so you know!

I tried to hold off on day drinking, but how could I pass up the unlimited draft beer deal? Hahahahahahaha

A lap around the buffet: gamjatang fried rice and Uljin red snow crab soup
Let's tour the buffet~ Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) with sundae (blood sausage), tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), dakbokkeumtang (spicy braised chicken) and more — and there was even gamjatang fried rice that wasn't here last time! So drool-worthy...
I always grab salad out of principle^^! There were lots of dressing options and a nice variety of veggies too.
Sorry for showing you a picture of the Uljin red snow crab soup already scraped clean, but I tried another bowl once it was refilled a bit later and — wow, so good...! It's subtly spicy and creamy at the same time... Uljin snow crab 🦀 seems to be one of Kuu Kuu's main ingredients this month! There were dishes using Uljin crab all over the place!?
Noodle station: two bowls of cold soba made to order
For jajangmyeon, jjamppong, udon, cold soba and other noodle dishes, you tell a staff member directly and they'll dish noodles into a bowl for you. I was craving cool cold soba so I had two bowls in a row...!
A pizza fanatic can't hold back on the pizza either...!!!! Hahahahahaha whenever I come to a buffet I just want to dig in the second I sit down without photographing everything, and it drives me a little crazy — but as a blogger I have a job to do...💦 Hahahahaha I fight this internal battle every single time ^_ㅠ
Two pastas and buffalo wings at the hot food counter
There were two types of pasta: aglio e olio and Uljin snow crab cream pasta. It used thick fettuccine noodles, so the creamy sauce coated the noodles thickly — extra delicious!
The buffalo wings at the hot food corner were nice and warm too!!! I thought Kuu Kuu was famous only for its sushi buffet, but the Western, Korean, and Chinese food stations were all so varied that anyone would find something they like.

And now the moment we've been waiting for — the sushi buffet corner!!! Hahahaha as expected of a place famous for its sushi buffet, there are dozens of types of sushi...! It was exhausting photographing every single one, and this isn't even all of them!!!
Time to load up a plate properly and dig in~ nom nom~~~
What is there to even say about Kuu Kuu's fresh salmon sushi... the freshness and quality are just great, great, great~! You could come to Kuu Kuu and eat nothing but a few plates of salmon sushi and still totally get your money's worth...
And I refilled the beer several times too... unlimited refills... my eyes go a little wild, don't yours!?
Dessert corner and the chocolate fountain
For dessert, there's dondurma (marble) ice cream and regular ice cream, fruit, cake, bread, and even tteok (rice cakes).
There's still a chocolate fountain that's always popular with kids, haha!
Every time I come to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch I leave stuffed and happy! Great spot for family gatherings and the sushi quality is always satisfying — 200% would come back!
