Jazz bar near Songpanaru Station: arancini and ceviche at Allegro
Allegro is an Italian dining jazz bar on the third floor of a building in Songpa, Seoul, a five-minute walk from Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station. On a weekday evening the writer brought her jazz-loving dad for the Lee Hyunju Trio live show and ordered seafood ceviche, mushroom cream potato gnocchi, arancini and sous-vide pork steak with wine by the glass. With a weekday live charge of 10,000 won for two 40-minute sets, Allegro is an easy place to start if you have never been to a jazz bar.
