Jongno bakery for black sesame and squid ink milk bread: Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a bakery on Donhwamun-ro in Jongno, Seoul, with a distinctly Korean-inspired atmosphere. I tried coffee bread, black sesame bread, squid ink condensed milk bread, and an onion bagel; the crisp onion bagel with onion cream cheese was my top pick. Verdict: Munhwa Bakery is a lovely Jongno stop for both bread and atmosphere.
