Work was crazy this week and I was so stressed that I just wanted to eat a LOT! But I still wanted to eat with my health in mind, so I went for the full package of collagen, which my skin badly needs as the seasons change. I wanted jokbal, where the meat is boiled well and the grease is gone.

Sadang Station has great transport access, and this is a jokbal place that serves a whole spread: Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch. Just use Exits 7, 8 or 9 of Sadang Station and you'll get there easily.

Parking and payment at Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch

Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch is a registered store on the discount app for Sadang 1-dong Public Parking Lots No. 1 and 2, so you get 1 hour of free parking. Parking near Sadang Station is hard, so please use Lots No. 1 and 2.

They also accept Seoul Pay. I use Seoul Pay myself, and I'm really enjoying the benefits the city offers all over the place.

Dine-in guests get a cool, spicy tofu stew (sundubu-jjigae) from the restaurant. It's seriously hot and spicy, and the portion is so big it even works as a hangover cure!! My boyfriend loved it so much he scraped the pot clean.

Atmosphere and cleanliness at Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch

The restaurant is bright and clean, so it's very hygienic. Jokbal places can honestly be a bit sticky, but the tables here were really clean! Top marks for hygiene and cleanliness at this Sadang jokbal restaurant.

The ₩50,000 jokbal set: what comes with it?

This time I ordered the Gwihan jokbal set for ₩50,000. One set includes side dishes, bean sprout soup, flying fish roe rice balls and makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles), and the restaurant also serves a free tofu stew.

Oh? I only ordered one jokbal set, and look how many side dishes get set out! Above all, the wooden tray (?) looks classy. Radish, chives and kimchi, all in a generous seasoned geotjeori style, and so tasty.

Bean sprout soup comes out, and then they also brought a tofu stew. The tofu stew was so big I was shocked, and it turned out to be a service for dine-in customers! Gwihan Jokbal is totally a bargain.

Flying fish roe rice balls are included in the set

I didn't order these as an extra. The Gwihan jokbal set includes flying fish roe rice balls! Prices have gone up lately, and meat is even pricier, right? Looking at the amount, Gwihan Jokbal's value is shocking. The portion is big enough for three people, which works out to about ₩10,000-something each!!!

The free tofu stew is spicy and goes well with jokbal

The free tofu stew was spicy, which made it even better~!!! Taking a spoonful between bites of jokbal makes your mouth feel so fresh that he finished it all (that's my boyfriend) haha. I love seeing my boyfriend eat so well. Hehe.

With so many sides, is there less jokbal?

Even with this many sides, the jokbal portion at Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch is really big!!! Ta-da, now the star, the jokbal, has arrived! Honestly, with so many sides I wondered if the meat would be small, but no. This is a jokbal place you must visit near Sadang Station. I've been to a lot of other jokbal places, and Gwihan Jokbal is truly the best!

Makguksu served in a naengmyeon bowl

And the lineup isn't over yet! The Gwihan jokbal set even has makguksu... there's so much, haha. This is no small portion of makguksu. It comes in a naengmyeon (cold noodle) bowl, so mix it up spicy and enjoy, yum!!

Put chives, radish and jokbal on a lettuce wrap and eat it, and wow! All this week's fatigue just flies away. Bouncy collagen and lean meat, yum.

Gwihan Jokbal Sadang Branch is a perfect Sadang Station jokbal restaurant for get-togethers with friends or company dinners. The portions are crazy for the price, so I left totally overstuffed!! Every side dish is tasty and the jokbal portion is huge, which surprised me. I've never seen a jokbal place near Sadang Station give this much food! Enjoy a hearty meal with a set that needs no extra orders.
