Seoul Chinese restaurant for smoky pepper beef rice: Huhugwan
Huhugwan is a Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant near Deoksugung Palace and City Hall Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. After seeing three exhibitions with my mom, we had pepper beef rice, black squid-ink yuringi, and seasonal cucumber salad; everything arrived quickly and we both loved it. Verdict: a brilliant lunch stop after Deoksugung Palace.
