Seoul Korean BBQ near Samseong Station: beef tartare and ribs at Gukbo
Gukbo Garden Samsung Main Branch is a two-story charcoal Korean BBQ restaurant right outside Exit 3 of Samseong Jungang Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Visiting for dinner with a friend, the writer ordered bakpo fresh short ribs for two, 1++ Korean beef (hanwoo) tartare, hanwoo sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew), and Han Don snowflake imperial flower cut pork, complete with staff grilling service and Yoajeong ice cream for dessert. With both private rooms and window seats, it works equally well for company dinners, business meals, or dates.
