A café review from Eun-eui Lee, a food blogger covering Seoul and Gyeonggi, on Center Coffee Guui East Pole (센터커피 구의이스트폴점) — a spacious, comfortable dessert café near Guui Station that's great for strollers.

I came here wanting a slice of dessert and a cool drink somewhere refreshing on a scorching summer day, and true to being a well-regarded café near Guui Station, it sits open-plan on the basement floor of East Pole, close to the subway station — really convenient if you're getting there by public transit.

It's a nice spot to rest for a bit while shopping, and since there's a food court right next door, it seemed like a natural place to swing by for dessert after a meal, as part of an outing.

Stroller-friendly, roomy tables — the easygoing pace of this Guui Station café

Being open-plan on the basement floor gives Center Coffee Guui East Pole a real sense of openness, and the space itself is wide with generous table spacing, so wheeling in a stroller or carrying big shopping bags didn't seem inconvenient at all.
The white-and-wood interior felt clean yet warm, the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Seating mixed bench-style and individual chairs, so you could pick what suited your group size, and the soft lighting was easy on the eyes. If you're looking for a café near Guui Station to take your kids to, this one's worth keeping in mind.
Sweet melon, gentle mugwort, and a mango cake I couldn't stop reaching for

The oriental melon yogurt smoothie balanced the smoothie's signature tang with the melon's natural sweetness, making it easy to drink without feeling heavy.

The melon chunks on top added a nice chew too, so it stayed interesting down to the last sip.

The iced mugwort latte struck a good balance between smooth cream and just-right sweetness — satisfying with every sip — and mugwort's subtle aroma blended so well with the cream that I found myself wanting to try the hot version once the weather turns cold.

The mango cake layered sweet mango chunks, mango purée, soft cream and a moist sponge so well that I kept going back for more bites. The sponge stayed fluffy rather than soggy, striking a great balance with the cream — polished enough that I was sorry to see the plate empty, and a Guui Station dessert I'd definitely order again.

Beyond the drinks and cake I tried this time, the menu also had seasonal desserts and a range of coffee-based drinks, so I'm already thinking about what to try on my next visit.
Made right in front of you, from drinks to beans you can take home — why you can trust this place

The staff were friendly, so ordering felt easy and comfortable, and being able to watch the drip coffee and various drinks being made right in front of me added to the trust. Since the grinding and brewing happens right behind the counter, the smell of coffee drifted gently through the whole space.

Off to one side there's a display shelf where you can buy drip bags, capsule coffee and whole beans separately, a nice option if you want to enjoy this coffee at home too. The whole place felt well kept and clean, and that kind of attention to detail is probably what makes people want to come back.
A Guui Station café that fits shopping, outings, and strollers alike

With a spacious layout, comfortable atmosphere and a good range of desserts and coffee, this place has all three things lined up — I'd recommend it if you're looking for a café near Guui Station. It's a space that welcomes everyone comfortably, from families with strollers to friends and couples, so I imagine I'll be back here often.
