In short
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a sushi buffet in Nowon, Seoul, on the 6th floor of 247 Nowon-ro, 800m from Hakgye Station Exit 2. Today I'm introducing a place that's famous as a Nowon family gathering spot! The restaurant is huge, and you can enjoy sushi, Korean, Chinese, Western and Japanese food, and desserts all in one place. It's the Nowon sushi buffet "Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch."

Location and parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
The Nowon family gathering restaurant "Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch" is located 800m from Hakgye Station Exit 2. Parking was available in the underground lot, and it was free!
There was quite a wait during meal times, so they even had chairs set up for waiting.
What about the price and menu count?
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch's adult pricing is ₩27,900 for weekday lunch, ₩31,900 for weekday dinner, and ₩35,900 on weekends and holidays.
- Weekday lunch ₩27,900
- Weekday dinner ₩31,900
- Weekend/holiday ₩35,900
You can eat a huge variety of food, and the price is good value, so it seemed like it would also be great for group gatherings or work dinners.
With about 120 menu items, there was plenty of variety to try, and parking was free for 2 hours with a meal.
Since the restaurant uses an entire floor of the building, the space was large, and the food stations were big with lots of variety. There were also plenty of tables, including group seating for larger parties.
The sushi corner, with ankimo gunkan and gim-salmon sushi
The sushi at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is made fresh on the spot by chefs at all times! Being an open kitchen, they seemed to pay a lot of attention to hygiene. All kinds of sushi, gunkan (battleship-shaped sushi) and rolls were ready to go.

In particular, there were menu items like ankimo (monkfish liver) gunkan and gim (dried laver) salmon sushi, which can cost a lot at conveyor-belt sushi places! Unlike other sushi buffets, the rice portions were small, which I liked.

This also seemed to have the widest variety of sushi menu items of any sushi buffet I've been to. Everything looked so delicious I wanted to try one of each.
Sashimi, mulhoe, soy sauce crab and the BBQ zone
Besides sushi, there was raw salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, mulhoe (spicy cold raw fish soup), ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab) and saeujang (soy sauce marinated shrimp) ready too. I got to enjoy some cool, refreshing mulhoe as well.
The BBQ zone had everything from pork back ribs to lamb chops, smoked duck, smoked pork belly, grilled salmon, steamed flower crab, and grilled shrimp. There were a lot of menu items, but all of them tasted great too!

There was also warm angkurute (French onion-style) soup, pumpkin porridge, and snow crab soup.

Chinese, Korean and Western corner menu
There was a wide range of Chinese dishes too, from warm gochu japchae (pepper-stir-fried glass noodles) and palbochae (mixed seafood and vegetable stir-fry) to cream shrimp, kkanshyo shrimp (sweet and spicy fried shrimp), guobaorou (sweet and sour pork), and mala grilled shrimp.

There was a good variety of salads too, great for eating before the main dishes!
Well-seasoned LA-style short ribs and spicy stir-fried sjuji (beef tendon) were also on offer.

From crispy fried items to pizza and pasta, kids would love it too!
Draft beer was also available unlimited when ordered.

So how did it actually taste?
With such a variety of menu items, you fill up quickly even just trying a little of everything. The taste was great too, so it seemed like something everyone — men, women, kids and adults alike — could enjoy. I'd really recommend it as a family dining spot in Nowon!
The raw salmon sashimi was from the fatty belly part, so it was really rich and delicious! I liked that all the sushi had small amounts of rice and lots of toppings.

Dessert and drinks
After the meal, there was a big variety of desserts too — all kinds of fruit, sweet bakery items, cakes, gelato, various ice creams, and even marble ice cream!

You could also drink cool sodas and coffee. Coffee and tea were available too, and adults seemed to really enjoy that.

The price is reasonable and the variety and taste are both great, so if you're looking for a family dining spot in Nowon, check out this Nowon buffet favorite, "Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch"!
