Bangi-dong bar with spicy gopchang hot pot and egg risotto: Horanggul
Horanggul Bangi Branch is a motsunabe (beef intestine hot pot) bar in the Bangi-dong dining alley of Songpa, Seoul. On a second visit the order was gopchang (small intestine) hot pot at Shin Ramyun spice level instead of the beef intestine hot pot tried last time, plus chicken skin gyoza and egg risotto, with hot pot priced at 15,900 to 18,900 won per person. Pick the gopchang hot pot at Horanggul for a clean, sharp broth and the beef intestine hot pot for a heavier one — and the soju pairing scored a full 5 out of 5.
