Geumseong Hoegwan Hapjeong Main Branch is a grilled pork restaurant about five minutes from Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. My husband and I ordered the Pork Geun set; having the staff grill and cut the pork made it easy to talk over dinner, and the side dishes and soft tofu stew made it filling.
Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station is a wood-fired pizza restaurant about a 3–4 minute walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. My husband and I had the Burratina pizza and ragù pasta; the chewy crust and fresh-tasting cheese worked well with the rich sauce, though there are few tables and no dedicated parking.
