Konkuk Station dessert cafe with mango bingsu: Andamiro Pancake

I was looking for a cafe near Konkuk University Station where I could enjoy good dessert and coffee together, and ended up at Andamiro Pancake Konkuk. There are so many cafes and good restaurants around Konkuk that it's hard to decide where to go, but this time I wanted somewhere with souffle pancakes and a variety of dessert options.

As the name suggests, Andamiro Pancake is known as a dessert cafe specializing in souffle pancakes. Besides souffle pancakes, they also sell croffles, bingsu, fruit sorbet, coffee, and various other drinks, making it a great spot for dessert lovers.

What's special is that they cook the souffle pancakes fresh after you order. Cooking them freshly to bring out a soft, fluffy texture is apparently what sets Andamiro Pancake apart. I really want to try their signature souffle pancake on my next visit.

Where is Andamiro Pancake Konkuk and how do you get there?

Andamiro Pancake Konkuk is about 279m from Exit 1 of Konkuk University Station. It's an easy walking distance, so it's a convenient spot to visit if you have plans near the station.

Getting there wasn't difficult either. From the Konkuk Entrance food street, pass Judabang and head toward the Seongsu intersection, then go toward the area across from Common Ground. It's near the Ppongsabu alley and the Yeokjeon Halmoni Beer intersection, on the 2nd floor of the building with Photoism Colored and Matdakko.

From Exit 1 of Konkuk University Station, it's about a 3-minute walk, so it's quite convenient to reach by public transit. From Exit 4 of Children's Grand Park Station it's about 15 minutes on foot, and from Exit 2 of Seongsu Station about 20 minutes. The route wasn't complicated at all, so we got there without any trouble.

How spacious is the cafe? Table spacing and atmosphere

The first thing I liked when I walked in was how spacious and relaxed the place felt. Cafes around Konkuk University Station tend to be crowded with tightly packed tables, but Andamiro Pancake had relatively generous space, so it was comfortable to stay a while.

The tables and seats were arranged in a variety of layouts, which seemed great for visiting with friends or going on a date over dessert. Best of all, the tables weren't crammed together, so we could talk without worrying too much about the next table over. We spent time relaxing and eating dessert that day, and the comfortable atmosphere made it even better.

How was the fresh mango bingsu?

What we ordered that day was fresh mango bingsu and two iced americanos. Andamiro Pancake's signature menu is supposedly the souffle pancake, but since it was hot out and I wanted something cool, I went with the fresh mango bingsu.

To cut to the conclusion, the fresh mango bingsu was really delicious. The mango's sweet, tangy flavor went really well with the cool shaved ice, and it tasted even better on a hot day. The bingsu itself wasn't just overwhelmingly sweet — you could really taste the mango alongside it, which I liked.

I think mango lovers especially would be satisfied with this one. Eating the sweet mango with the cool shaved ice, my spoon kept going back for more. I'd recommend the fresh mango bingsu to anyone looking for a good summer dessert around Konkuk.

Iced americano: the beans and decaf options

Along with the fresh mango bingsu, we also ordered two iced americanos. You really can't skip coffee when eating sweet dessert. Alternating between the iced americano and the mango bingsu was a great combination.

At Andamiro Pancake, they use beans with low acidity and a full, nutty flavor, made to pair well with the souffle pancakes. All coffee menu items can be ordered decaf, which seems like a great option for anyone sensitive to caffeine.

We ordered iced americano that day, and having cool coffee alongside the sweet bingsu made for a nice little break near Konkuk.

What else is on the menu? Souffle pancakes and croffles

Besides the fresh mango bingsu, Andamiro Pancake sells a variety of other dessert menu items. Their most representative menu, the souffle pancake, is cooked fresh right after ordering to bring out a soft, fluffy texture. Apparently you get a soft souffle pancake unlike typical bread or bakery items, so I definitely want to order it on my next visit.

There are also souffle pancake options made with various seasonal fruits like banana, shine muscat grapes, regular grapes, pineapple, strawberry, mango, and blueberry. Since you can enjoy the fruit together with cream, it seems like a great option for brunch or an after-meal dessert.

They also have croffles made with dough using French butter. If you're a croffle fan, you can pick whichever option suits your taste from the range available. In summer, they also have bingsu and fruit sorbet on the menu, so you can enjoy different desserts depending on the season, which I liked.

Final thoughts and opening hours

What I liked most about visiting Andamiro Pancake Konkuk this time was being able to enjoy delicious dessert together with a spacious, comfortable space.

Being close to Konkuk University Station and having a roomy interior, I thought it was a good cafe for meeting friends to chat or spending time on a date. We ordered fresh mango bingsu and iced americano that day, and both the food and the atmosphere were great, so it was a satisfying time. Eating the cool fresh mango bingsu on a hot day especially lifted my mood.

If you're looking for a cafe near Konkuk where you can try desserts like souffle pancakes, bingsu, and croffles, Andamiro Pancake is worth a visit. Hours are Monday to Friday 13:00–22:00, and Saturday and Sunday 13:00–21:00, with last order times varying by day, so it's good to check before you go.

Andamiro Pancake Konkuk was close to the station and let us enjoy delicious dessert and coffee in a spacious, relaxed setting. Next time, I plan to try not just the fresh mango bingsu but their signature souffle pancake too.
