Corkage-free makgeolli and gabrisal pork BBQ near Wangsimni: Pujutgan
Pujutgan Saenggogi-jeom is a hot-plate Korean BBQ restaurant in Haengdang-dong, Seongdong, Seoul, five minutes on foot from Wangsimni Station Exit 10. The writer and a friend ordered two servings of raw pork belly plus gabrisal, had staff grill it all on the traditional cauldron-lid griddle, and topped it off with unlimited kimchi stew, bibim naengmyeon, japchae noodles and mul naengmyeon. Since the restaurant is corkage-free, bringing along a bottle of Boksoondoga makgeolli to drink with the meat made the meal even better.
