Isu Station pizza pub for 3: ₩54,000 set and bouncy sausage, Raymond

I was looking for a place to have pizza and beer near Isu Station and ended up at Raymond Isu Branch…!! American-style slices as big as your face, plus a set with sausage, chicken and fries, made it perfect for going with a group :-) It has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps too, so it's clearly already a word-of-mouth favorite in Isu!

Where is Raymond Isu Branch?

Raymond Isu Branch (RAYMOND ISU) is at 33 Dongjak-daero 23-gil, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, 1st floor. Come out of Isu Station Exit 9 and it's right in front of you! It's open from 11:30 to 23:00.

It's at the start of the Isu Station food alley, so it's easy to drop by after work and really convenient as a meeting spot. The exterior gives off a full American pizza joint vibe and catches your eye even as you walk past haha. I'd been curious about it for a while because the outside is so pretty~!!

Inside Raymond Isu Branch: good for dates and group dinners?

Raymond Isu Branch has two floors, 1st and 2nd, so the inside is huge! The interior is decorated in a lovely American style, and the mood lifts the second you walk in :-)

When I went, a company dinner (hoesik) was going on upstairs on the 2nd floor. That means it's roomy enough for group seating, right? The 1st floor had a couples-on-a-date feel. So it works for a date, and it's also just right for a team dinner or a get-together with several people.

Since you can order by the slice, I heard some people come alone, eat one slice and leave. It's no pressure for solo meals or takeout too haha.

Raymond Isu Branch, famous as an Isu pizza-and-beer spot, is also known for serving world-class draft beer. It didn't get famous for pizza plus beer for nothing...! They have lots of beer brands you don't often see elsewhere, and they say they pick only really good draft beers.

Raymond is an American-style pizza-by-the-slice place, so you order pizza by the slice rather than by the whole pie. It's about ₩7,000-8,000 a slice, and each slice is seriously huge…!! It feels like two regular slices put together lol. And as a proper pizza-and-beer place, they sell craft beer too!

Is the ₩54,000 Raymond Set enough for 3 people?

Even with three of us, the Raymond Set was enough to leave us full! We ordered the ₩54,000 Raymond Set, which comes with 4 pizza slices, sausage, chicken and fries. If you want to try a bit of everything, the set is much better than ordering slices separately :-)

How big is the American-style slice? Face-sized

Every slice at Raymond Isu Branch is really big, right..! Honestly the size of my own face lol. So even one slice fills you up quite a bit.

Even compared with an adult man's palm, it's as big as the hand. The dough is crisp overall and not greasy, so even though the slices are huge, I never got sick of them and kept eating.

Bacon Hawaiian and macaroni pizza taste

The bacon Hawaiian was a sweet-and-salty combo of salty bacon and sweet pineapple that kept me reaching for more, and the macaroni pizza in the photo was my first time trying it: thick mac and cheese on top of the pizza, which tasted nutty and creamy and felt so novel haha.

The surprise of the Raymond Set: sausage and sides

The surprise of the day in the Raymond Set was the sausage! Honestly, since it's just a side in a pizza set I didn't expect much, but it was more bouncy than I thought and really good ❤️ It pops when you bite into it, so it was the best beer snack.

Chicken and fries come along too, so it was nice to switch between them while eating pizza. The side dishes were better quality than I expected. That's why I highly recommend this Raymond Set...!!! Don't just eat the pizza, try the sides together too!

From what I overheard at the next table (lol), the soupy tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) at Raymond Isu Branch is also amazing?! Next time I come with a bunch of friends, I'll order pizza and try the tteokbokki and spaghetti too.

6 sauces make even the pizza crust delicious

Raymond Isu Branch gives you as many as 6 sauces....!! The garlic dipping sauce was good and the spicy seasoned sauce was good too. With so many sauces, you can enjoy even the pizza crust, which I loved~!

Salty pizza and a cold glass of craft beer, and that's pure happiness,,,!
