Yeonnam-dong snack bar with vegetable gimbap and chicken: Eungkeum
Eungkeum Tteokbokki Yeonnam Branch is a 24-hour snack restaurant in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo, Seoul, serving tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), gimbap (seaweed rice rolls), sundae (blood sausage) and fried chicken in one sitting. After a nearby flea market, the writer ordered soupy tteokbokki with chewy rice cakes, boneless fried chicken, sundae and a Natural Vegetable Gimbap, and the thick-cut gimbap packed with fresh fillings was the most memorable plate. A spicy, filling dinner that pairs tteokbokki with several chicken options at any hour.
