U&E Studio Seongsu location and parking

U&E Studio Seongsu (유앤이 스튜디오 성수점) is a 7-minute walk from Exit 5 of Children’s Grand Park Station. Parking for up to four cars is available behind the building!

It is first come, first served for visitors, though, so if the lot is full, please use a nearby street-side public parking lot.

This is where you can park. If it is full, use Huayang-dong Public Parking Lot or Songjeong-dong Public Parking Lot. If an empty space has a no-parking signboard in it, simply move the signboard and park there.

They send you a shooting guide before your session, and I really recommend reading it carefully beforehand!

Once inside the building, you can see that U&E Studio Seongsu is on the third floor!

On the third floor, enter Suite 302. Just note that the restroom requires the door-lock key card to enter.

What to prepare before the shoot

After you come through the entrance, you first need to change shoes. Please wear the indoor slippers in the studio whenever possible; if you bring separate shoes for the shoot, make sure they are clean. A cleaning fee may be charged for dirt brought in by outdoor shoes, so keep that in mind!

Once you have changed into slippers and headed inside, open the door marked “une” to reach the studio! One more thing: a staff member will be waiting inside, but the equipment needs setup time, so be sure to enter exactly at your reservation time!

From outfits to hair and makeup

The studio has a wide range of clothes and props, plus a hair and makeup room. There are all kinds of outfits, from dresses to shirts, so even if you could not prepare something in advance, you could choose something here and still get beautifully finished photos.

There is also a children’s clothing section! There were so many outfits in different concepts that it looked fun to choose one for little ones!

Once your outfit is ready, you need shoes too, right? There were dress shoes in lots of colors, so even if you arrived with absolutely nothing prepared, you could still get nicely styled for photos! There were also all kinds of fun props, which was great for taking photos in different styles.

Now that the outfits and shoes were all set! The most important part, hair and makeup, was left. There were hair products for creating all sorts of styles. And with the bright lights and the hair-and-makeup mirror too! I really loved that U&E Studio Seongsu had everything ready!

Shooting with centerpieces and props

Once our outfits and hair were all ready, it was time to start shooting. We added the premium centerpiece! The flowers in the middle are the centerpiece. It made the photos feel even brighter, and I recommend adding one!

The studio has chairs at different heights, a variety of flowers, balloons, dolls, and lots of other props, so I recommend using them efficiently during your shooting time! The white chair suited the backdrop better than I expected and was very versatile, so I recommend giving it a try!

One wall displays photos taken by previous visitors. We are like this too, but since we do not normally have photos taken, once the shoot begins, you can spend ages wondering which pose to do and suddenly the time is gone! I recommend looking at these photos for reference and trying out their poses.

Our white-backdrop couple photo results

These are the photos we took! I loved how the white backdrop and chair did not stand out too much, so the photos captured us naturally and kept the focus on us! The centerpiece added even more brightness, and we were so happy with how they turned out!! If you are taking photos for any kind of anniversary, I definitely recommend a shoot at U&E Studio Seongsu!
