Solo trip to a Jongno bakery near Jongmyo Shrine: Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a takeaway-only bakery right outside Exit 7 of Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station in Jongno, Seoul. Revisiting solo after a year, the writer tried the squid ink milk cream bread, garlic bread, coffee bread, and a new onion bagel, all in a tiny shop that lets in only two groups at a time but turns over fast. A perfect stop for takeaway bread before a walk around Jongmyo Shrine.
