Some people love sushi, while others prefer meat, fried food, or noodles, so it is not easy to find somewhere that will satisfy everyone. This time, while looking for a good place where we could eat a variety of dishes in one spot, I visited Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch (쿠우쿠우 노원점). I was so happy with it that I wanted to leave a review!
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch: Basic Information

It is on the sixth floor at 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, and is open from 11:00 to 21:30, with Saturday and Sunday hours extended until 22:00. Parking is available free for two hours.
Kuu Kuu is a place where you can enjoy sushi and a variety of buffet dishes all at once, so it is a good option when looking for a venue for a family meal or gathering. Choosing what to order can be difficult when several people eat together because everyone wants something different, but the best thing about a buffet is that everyone can choose exactly what they want.
Spacious Seating and Weekend Pricing

When I went inside, the seating was arranged quite spaciously, and I saw many families dining there. I also heard that it can be used for family events such as first-birthday parties!

Since prices can vary depending on when you visit or on current promotions, it is best to check before going. Weekday lunch, dinner, and weekend prices were all different. We visited on a weekend or public holiday, so the price was ₩35,900 per person!
Buffet Dishes, From Sushi to Rolls and Gunkan

The first thing I looked at after entering Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch was, of course, the sushi.

There were so many kinds of sushi prepared that I started picking them out one by one. There was such a variety that I paused to wonder which sushi to try first and whether I should begin with something new.

Beyond sushi, there were rolls, gunkan (battleship-style sushi), and many other dishes. I think the greatest advantage of a buffet is being able to sample a little bit of this and that instead of eating just one thing.

Relatively Quick Refills When Food Runs Low
Personally, one thing I liked about Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch was how quickly the food was refilled.

At other buffets in the past, I have had to wait because popular dishes were empty during busy times. This time, though, the food tended to be replenished relatively quickly after people took some. The staff moved around and communicated often, using radios to ask for empty items to be refilled, so we could take our time enjoying the delicious dishes.

I enjoyed the food overall, and with so many choices, it never felt as though there was not enough to eat during the meal.

At family meals, everyone is bound to want different foods, and Kuu Kuu was especially convenient in that respect because you can choose from sushi to all kinds of other dishes in one place.

Dessert After the Meal, Too
Once you have finished the main dishes, you have to have dessert, too. There was everything from fruit and cake that all ages enjoy to Dippin' Dots, which children especially love! They really had it all, and it made me so happy.
For a family meal where it is hard to settle on one particular dish, or for a meal with a larger group, being able to choose whatever each person wants is clearly a major advantage. It had been a while since I last visited Kuu Kuu, but this time I was more satisfied than expected because there were so many dishes and they were replenished quickly.
