Yeonnam-dong restaurant with creamy bulgogi pasta: Pastiar steak set
In short
Pastiar is a Western restaurant on the second floor of an alley in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, styled like a European home. Two friends shared the ₩53,000 steak set, which comes with a sous vide steak, one pasta and two drinks, chosen here as creamy bulgogi pasta, green tangerine ade and lemon ade. The steak, cooked sous vide for 5 hours, was tender, and the creamy bulgogi pasta sauce was memorable enough to come back for.

Today's a review of Pastiar, which I visited with a friend in Yeonnam! I've been eating a lot of Western food in Yeonnam lately, but this place stuck with me not just for the food but for the atmosphere and the owner's thoughtfulness. Eating steak and pasta in this cute little space that felt like visiting a European home genuinely put me in a good mood haha. If you're looking for a Yeonnam-dong pasta restaurant or a Yeonnam-dong date restaurant with great atmosphere, check out today's review :)

Where Pastiar is, plus parking and hours
Pastiar is on the second floor of a building tucked in a Yeonnam-dong alley at 3 Donggyo-ro 38an-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. There's no dedicated parking, so you'll need to use a nearby paid lot.

Part of the fun of Yeonnam is wandering the alleys for pretty shops, and Pastiar caught my eye even before I stepped inside.

Even the entrance alley is full of atmosphere. Once you step inside, it gets even prettier.

Inside Pastiar: a European home in Yeonnam-dong
The inside of Pastiar is decorated with a European feel throughout — kind of like visiting someone's home in Europe for a meal? Rather than the flashy interiors that are trendy these days, it has a warm, cozy feel, which I personally liked even more. Perfect for a date, too!
The table already had cutlery and wet wipes neatly set out. It was a hot day, and as soon as we sat down, they brought us cold water.

And the water even had ice floating in it... It might sound small, but after walking in the heat, that kind of thoughtfulness really stood out haha.
The window seats have a nice view too!! And the owner was really kind. Whenever we asked about the menu, they explained everything carefully, and when the food came out they told us how to eat it for the best taste. And they were just so lovely... haha.

They even had the menu prepared in Japanese and English — such a thoughtful touch!
What comes in Pastiar's ₩53,000 steak set for two

Since there were two of us, we ordered the ✔️Steak Set (sous vide steak + 1 pasta + 2 drinks) for ₩53,000. We chose the creamy bulgogi pasta, and one green tangerine ade and one lemon ade to drink. If two people are visiting a Yeonnam-dong date restaurant, I personally think this set is a great choice.

Green tangerine ade and lemon ade at Pastiar
First came the green tangerine ade and lemon ade :) Refreshing colors right from the start... I like having something fizzy and tart with Western food, so I picked ades for both.

The green tangerine ade especially! Looking at the fridge showcase in the restaurant, I could see fresh fruit and several kinds of homemade cheong (fruit syrup).

Looked like they make the cheong in-house, which maybe made it taste even better haha. It's refreshing enough to sip between bites of steak or creamy pasta!

The lemon ade was, without a doubt, delicious too. Taking a tart sip between bites of something that can get a little rich like creamy pasta made for a great combo. If you're going with someone, I'd recommend ordering one of each flavor to share!

5-hour sous vide steak with tomato sauce and wasabi
And then came Pastiar's signature dish — the sous vide steak! I asked the owner and apparently it's sous vide cooked for a full 5 hours. Five hours...! I was curious how tender it could be, and one bite made it all clear.
Truly tender... I loved how the meat wasn't chewy and cut easily right away. Even with a thick cut, all those hours of sous vide cooking made it easy to eat smoothly. And here's something a little unusual about Pastiar's steak!
There's tomato sauce underneath the meat. Tomato sauce with steak? It felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but the owner personally showed us how to eat it.
Pick up a piece of meat, dip it in the tomato sauce underneath,

and if you like, add a touch of the wasabi served alongside. The tomato sauce and steak combo isn't common, so it felt like something distinctly Pastiar.

Pastiar's signature creamy bulgogi pasta
And then, the creamy bulgogi pasta! This is apparently Pastiar's signature fusion pasta. It's a bulgogi (marinated grilled beef) plus cream pasta combo, adding Korean ingredients to a Western dish.

Bottom line... the sauce is genuinely delicious. My friend kept raving about it the whole time we ate!! I thought a creamy bulgogi pasta might be a bit heavy or rich, but

the sauce itself is so tasty that my fork kept going back for more. If I'm recommending this as a Yeonnam-dong pasta restaurant, this is the dish I really wanted to talk about.
A forkful of noodles coated generously in sauce :) Eating it together with the bulgogi really brings out the charm of this dish. It's great if you want something a bit different from an ordinary cream pasta! If it's your first visit to Pastiar, I'd recommend this one.
Is the steak set enough food for two people?
The Pastiar steak set turned out to be surprisingly filling for two women. At first I thought it seemed like a reasonable amount for two, but by the time we finished the sous vide steak, pasta, and drinks, we were seriously full.

In the end we left with just a little bit left over... and thinking back now, I regret it lol. Even if it meant bursting, I should've just finished everything... I especially kept thinking about the creamy bulgogi pasta sauce afterward. If I ever make plans with a pasta-loving friend in Yeonnam again, I'd love to come back here.

The food was great, but the restaurant also wasn't loud or chaotic — it was a pretty space where we could chat and eat slowly, which I loved. That kind of atmosphere matters a lot when you're looking for a nice Yeonnam-dong restaurant haha. It also works well as a date spot.
With a warm interior like a European home, plus steak, pasta, and refreshing ades, it's a great place to come set the mood for a Yeonnam-dong date restaurant!

Above all, what stuck with me most was the owner's thoughtfulness. It really felt like they run the space and the food with genuine care, which kept me in a good mood throughout the meal.

Why the steak set is the order for two at Pastiar
If you're visiting with someone, I'd personally recommend the Pastiar steak set we had. For ₩53,000, you get their signature sous vide steak, a pasta, and two drinks all in one — perfect for two people without having to fuss over ordering separate dishes.
I came looking for a Yeonnam-dong pasta restaurant, and Pastiar left me with a good impression not just for the food but for the space and the kindness :) It's great to come with a friend for good food, and it also fits well as a Yeonnam-dong date restaurant,

and if you're after a warm, cozy Yeonnam-dong restaurant rather than somewhere too crowded, give it a try. I already want to go back for the creamy bulgogi pasta again lol.
