I went to Juno Hair Guwol-dong Rodeo Branch to get my husband's hair done 🤓 There was plenty of parking, so it was easy to drive there 🚘 It's also easy to get to by subway 💗

Take the elevator up and follow the signs for LINK126 — the directions inside are well marked so I got in without getting lost 🙆🏻♀️

There's a separate waiting area, so I could show up a bit early without worrying about it 😉

The first thing I noticed walking in was how clean and lively the place felt 🤣 It was bigger than expected, so it was easy to wait together ❗️

The locker room was tidy too, and there's a kids' zone, so it seems like a good spot to bring your child along!

They even brought us drinks and snacks, which made the wait so much nicer 😇

What happens in a men's cut and scalp scaling at Juno Hair?

With mornings and evenings getting chillier, my husband said his scalp was feeling drier and drier, so I brought him in for a design cut & scalp scaling 😉 Seeing it up close, I really felt like he needed scalp care 💗

He was getting his hair cut for the first time in almost a month, and this time it came as a full course — cut plus scalp scaling, customized scalp shampoo, pressure massage, and scalp serum 🤣

He usually keeps pretty much the same style all the time, so he always wonders what would suit him and how to change it up. During the consultation the stylist talked him through his face shape, his usual styling habits, and even the direction of his parting 🤔

Watching from the side, the cutting was so meticulous — really satisfying to see 🤓

I liked that they checked his scalp condition first before starting the actual care 💖 They used a scalp diagnosis device to check it ❗️ We kind of expected it since my husband has a lot of flaking, but seeing it on screen actually hit differently 🤓

For the scalp scaling, they used a scalp-specific scaling product to gently loosen the built-up flakes and buildup 🙆🏻♀️ The stylist pressed firmly with her fingers and worked through it carefully 🤓 Watching from the side I thought it might hurt, but he said it actually felt refreshing instead.

Afterward he said his scalp felt lighter, which he was really happy about ✨ Once the machine work was done, they rinsed with a shampoo matched to his scalp type, massaging his scalp while shampooing, which he also loved 💗

By the end he felt so relaxed it even put him in a good mood 🤣 As a finishing touch they applied a scalp serum for absorption! He said it felt lighter somehow.

It's a well-known chain salon, so I figured the design cut would obviously be great — what I was really looking forward to was the scalp care, and the finishing style turned out perfect too 🥺 It was the weekend, so we planned to go out together right after, and it ended up being a day that put us both in a great mood ❤️ Thanks for the great care!
