Hagik-dong, Incheon café with a roasting factory & 3 scones: Tiny Dot
In short
Tiny Dot is a four-story roastery café in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, that roasts its own beans in a 1st-floor roasting factory and also supplies beans to other roasteries. After touring each floor and the single-origin bean display, the writer tried Tiny Dot's signature Orange Dot (6,000 won), an iced americano (5,000 won) and warm homemade gourmet butter, chocolate and Earl Grey scones (3,500 won each). Tiny Dot looks like a small neighborhood café but turns out to be a large roastery café where both the coffee and the scones are delicious.

Sometimes you walk past a place and assume it's just a small, nice neighborhood coffee shop. But the moment you step inside, the name "Tiny Dot", haha, turns out to be the starting point of a huge coffee universe! A whole four-story building is the café! From roasting to bean sales, let's go~

It turns out the whole building, 1st floor to 4th, is packed with passion for coffee!
It turns out the whole building, 1st floor to 4th, is packed with passion for coffee. It even supplies beans to other roasteries professionally, a true "coffee master's" space. Tiny Dot!

Tiny Dot floor by floor: from the 1st-floor roasting factory to the 4th-floor group space
At Tiny Dot, the 1st floor is the order counter and roasting factory, seating starts from the 2nd floor, and the 4th floor is for classes and groups. I thought it was a small café, but it boasts an open, four-story scale.

1F Counter / Factory: The 1st floor, the first thing you meet when you open the door, is the counter for ordering drinks and also the "factory", the heart of Tiny Dot. Fresh beans are roasted here and quality is tightly controlled.
Is there parking at Tiny Dot?
There are two spots right in front of the shop and you can also park behind the building, so don't worry!

Seating, restrooms and using the 4th floor
From the 2nd floor up there are seats where you can fully enjoy the coffee and the space. Women's restrooms are on the 2nd and 4th floors and a men's restroom is on the 3rd, neatly separated by floor, which is very convenient in such a big space. The 4th floor is for classes and group guests, so it's best to inquire in advance!
What coffee beans can you buy at Tiny Dot?
Tiny Dot sells single-origin beans such as Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Colombia Supremo, Indonesia Mandheling, Kenya AA and Guatemala Antigua, plus blends and decaf, in small packs. There are also 200g and 500g large bags and drip bag sets.
On one side of the shop, the baristas' many certificates and credentials hang proudly. The trust level shoots right up just looking at them. Below the shelves is a lineup of beans that will make any coffee lover's heart race.
Single-origin beans from famous regions around the world, like Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Colombia Supremo, Indonesia Mandheling, Kenya AA and Guatemala Antigua, are neatly packed in small bags. There are mild and dark blends to suit your taste, and even decaf options. Drip bag sets are there too, easy to enjoy. And, as you'd expect from a place that supplies roasteries, large 200g and 500g bags for home cafés or small shops are sold at reasonable prices, with sample displays.

What does Tiny Dot's signature Orange Dot (6,000 won) taste like?
Orange Dot is Tiny Dot's signature drink at ₩6,000. An orange base sits under a coffee layer, so you get the freshness of orange and the bitterness of coffee together.

The first thing I tried was the signature Orange Dot. The orange base at the bottom and the coffee layer together look so pretty! Other places serve drinks in tiny little cups, but here the cup is big, which I love! That's part of its charm. The freshness of orange and the bitterness of coffee mix pleasantly for a unique flavor.

Iced americano and switching any drink to decaf
Tiny Dot's iced americano is ₩5,000. It has a clean, no-fuss taste that's excellent. By the way, every drink can be switched to decaf, so you can come even on days when you're sensitive to caffeine!

Tiny Dot's 3 homemade scones: which one is best?
Tiny Dot's homemade scones come in gourmet butter, chocolate and Earl Grey, all ₩3,500, and they're served warm. I tried all three, textbook crispy outside and moist inside!
The others seemed to be already sold out! The scones here are a hit too! Good butter and good ingredients give them great aroma and texture. Being served warm makes them even better!

Gourmet butter scone (3,500 won)
The most basic yet most powerful of the bunch. Made with gourmet butter, it fills your mouth with a rich, nutty butter flavor in the first bite. The inside is moist with a properly soft texture, and with a clean iced americano it's the best! Recommended!

Chocolate scone (3,500 won)
Recommended for people who like bittersweet desserts. Rich chocolate blends smoothly into the scone base for a sweet but deep flavor.
Earl Grey scone (3,500 won)
Earl Grey tea leaves are dotted through the scone, and as they bake they give off a subtle, elegant aroma that's superb. The fragrance spreads through your whole mouth with the first bite! I really like this one!
