Kalguksu restaurant in Suwon for mild-spicy kal-nakji, weekend lunch
Daseon Kalguksu Main Branch is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) and bossam restaurant in the Suwon Station Rodeo Street restaurant alley in Suwon, Gyeonggi. For a hangover cure the writer ordered two servings of kal-nakji (knife-cut noodles with octopus) in the mild spice level plus a plate of boiled pork, all with the complimentary barley rice, and found the place nearly full even past the weekend lunch rush. The mild spice level is about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, so even spice-averse eaters can enjoy it, and the pork plate portion was generous and satisfying.
