Suwon Hommaesil rockfish minari pancake and pork hot pot: Ok Doenjang
Ok Doenjang Suwon Hommaesil Branch is a Korean hot pot restaurant on the first floor of the Lotte Cinema building in the Hommaesil complex near Hwaseo Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi. After enjoying the doenjang hot pot on an earlier visit, the writer returned with her husband for the boiled pork hot pot (small) at 25,000 won and the rockfish minari jeon (pancake with water celery) at 15,000 won; the pork was tender with no gamey smell and the pancake came out crisp. It makes an easy lunch for a day when you miss your mom's home cooking.
