Seoul Korean BBQ near Seolleung: six hanwoo cuts in a 600g set, Uno
In short
Uno is a hanwoo (Korean beef) restaurant near Seolleung Station Exit 1 in Gangnam, Seoul. At Uno, the writer and her husband ordered the 600g Hanwoo Special (160,000 won) and compared six cuts as staff grilled them over charcoal: premium fresh galbi (short rib), sirloin, chimasal (flank), buchaesal (top blade), rib finger and old-style sirloin. The meal ran from seonji haejangguk (ox blood soup) to pot rice with doenjang jjigae and a complimentary bingsu. Uno is an easy, relaxed pick for tasting several hanwoo cuts in one sitting.

What cuts come in Uno's hanwoo teukseon 600g near Seolleung Station?
Uno's hanwoo teukseon (premium hanwoo set) 600g is ₩160,000 and comes with six cuts: teuksaenggalbi, sirloin, skirt steak, chuck flap, rib finger and old-style sirloin. I ordered this set at Uno, a hanwoo beef specialty restaurant near Seolleung Station Exit 1, and I loved that instead of just one cut, I could taste a variety all at once.
Whenever I go out for hanwoo, I always struggle to decide which cut to order, so being able to try several at once like this was great.

Uno near Seolleung: a place where they grill the meat over charcoal for you

First impressions of the hanwoo teukseon 600g
When Uno's hanwoo teukseon 600g arrived at the table, the marbling and vivid color looked mouthwatering right away, and the 600g portion felt really generous.

Does Uno grill the meat for you?
Yes, at Uno near Seolleung Station, staff grilled the meat over charcoal directly for us. Beef can get tough if overcooked, and the ideal doneness differs by cut, so it was really convenient to leave the grilling to them.
Chatting with my husband, I also liked that we could eat each cut right at the moment it was most delicious.

Side dishes and ox blood soup before the meat
After we sat down at Uno, the basic side dishes and the charcoal grill were set up before the meat even arrived. The side dishes were neatly arranged and paired well with the beef overall.
Before we really got into the hanwoo, a hot ox blood soup came out first.

The broth was bubbling away in a stone pot, generously packed with ox blood, bean sprouts and scallions. One spoonful of the hot broth had a spicy, deep flavor that was perfect for waking up the appetite before the meat.
Tasting teuksaenggalbi and sirloin first
Teuksaenggalbi was one of the cuts I was most looking forward to in the hanwoo teukseon. The moment it hit the charcoal, a savory aroma spread and the surface browned beautifully — just watching it made my mouth water.

The sirloin was great for enjoying hanwoo's distinctive savory flavor. And best of all, at Uno the staff grilled everything over charcoal for us, which made it so much easier.

Since each cut was grilled to the right doneness for it, we could eat everything right at the most delicious moment.

Skirt steak and chuck flap — different textures

Next we tried the skirt steak and chuck flap. Even though it's all hanwoo, the texture and aroma changed slightly with each cut, which made comparing them as we ate really enjoyable. The subtle charcoal scent came through nicely, so the beef's flavor stood out even without much seasoning.
Since we didn't have to grill it ourselves, we didn't have to keep worrying about the meat burning, so we could relax and chat over the meal.

Finishing generously with rib finger and old-style sirloin

After that we worked through the rib finger and old-style sirloin in turn. The rib finger got more savory the more we chewed, and by the time we got to the old-style sirloin, it really felt like we'd properly experienced multiple cuts, true to the name hanwoo teukseon.
Finishing with hotpot rice, doenjang jjigae and a complimentary bingsu
After we'd had our fill of meat at Uno, we finished warmly with hotpot rice and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew). The moment we opened the hotpot lid, a warm, savory rice smell rose up — since it was freshly cooked, the grains were fluffy and glossy. Paired with the hearty doenjang jjigae, it really felt like this combination is essential after eating meat.

After all that hanwoo, the hearty flavor of the doenjang jjigae also felt like it cleansed the palate nicely.

But that wasn't even the end. At the very last, they treated us to a complimentary bingsu. Cool shaved ice combined with red beans, savory bean powder, crunchy cereal and sweet toppings — a great dessert after eating so much meat.

My honest take on Uno near Seolleung
At Uno near Seolleung Station, I ordered the hanwoo teukseon 600g and enjoyed a wide range of cuts from teuksaenggalbi to sirloin, skirt steak, chuck flap, rib finger and old-style sirloin. Above all, it was convenient having staff grill everything over strong charcoal heat, and it was satisfying to slowly compare the flavor and texture of each cut.
From the hot ox blood soup before the meal, through the generous hanwoo teukseon, to the hotpot rice and doenjang jjigae, and finally the complimentary bingsu — it was a meal that felt complete and satisfying from start to finish.
