Doksan-dong beef restaurant with yukhoe bibimbap: Ddeum Sukseong No.9
Ddeum Sukseong Hanwoo No.9 is a hanwoo (Korean beef) grill restaurant on the first floor of the Lotte Castle Gold Park 3 shopping arcade in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, near Geumcheon-gu Office Station. Three high school friends shared the Hanwoo Special Set (145,000 won), grilled over charcoal by the owner himself, then finished with yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef rice bowl) and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew). The beef was excellent, but the mild, unfussy bibimbap and stew at Ddeum Sukseong Hanwoo No.9 were the real surprise.
