Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch is an outdoor Korean BBQ restaurant with a stone-wall view on Supyo-ro, by Jongno 3-ga Station in Jongno, Seoul. Arriving at 5:15pm on a weekday just barely got an outdoor table at Tapgol Gongwon for frozen pork belly at 18,000 won, frozen pork neck at 19,000 won, beef brisket doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) and kimchi fried rice pressed onto the grill; by 6:20pm, 50 groups were waiting. The stone wall is the whole reason to sit outside, so come early if you want one of those tables.
