Omil Hongdae is a Western-style restaurant on the second floor near AK Plaza in Hongdae, Seoul, 2 minutes from Hongik University Station Exit 4. Arriving just before 6pm on a weekday meant walking straight in with no wait, and the table was packed by 6:10 over rubber duck omurice at 16,900 won, salmon steak gnocchi at 19,900 won and an Oh! Cherry Ade at 6,900 won. The cute plating drew the visit, but the sauce and chewy texture of the salmon steak gnocchi cleared the plate.
