Gwanghwamun gyukatsu restaurant, NFC order at B1-63: Hurato Sikdang
Hurato Sikdang Gyeongbokgung Main Branch is a gyukatsu (Japanese beef cutlet) restaurant in unit 63 of the Royal Building arcade basement, one level below Gwanghwamun Station in Jongno, Seoul. On a weekday lunch visit, gyukatsu at 19,500 won and Japanese-style omurice at 14,500 won were ordered through the table NFC tag, then grilled two or three slices at a time for 20 to 30 seconds on a mini charcoal stove and eaten with salt and wasabi. The gyukatsu was tender all the way through with no chewy bits, making Hurato Sikdang an easy recommendation for lunch in Gwanghwamun.
