Ganghwa duck restaurant with lotus-leaf cold noodles: Deok Ori
Deok Ori Jumulleok Ganghwa Main Branch is a duck jumulleok (pan-stirred spicy duck) restaurant on Manisan-ro in Ganghwa, Incheon, where the duck is first seared over briquette fire. On a Naver reservation visit with her husband, the writer ordered duck jumulleok for two (40,000 won) with yeon-naengmyeon (cold noodles made with lotus leaf) and natural cider, then had the leftover meat turned into fried rice left to form a crispy crust. Deok Ori Jumulleok tasted clean with no gamy smell and no MSG, like a country-style home meal.
