Seongsu gomtang restaurant, clear vs spicy soup: Dwaeji Gomtang House

Dwaeji Gomtang House is a pork gomtang (clear pork bone soup) restaurant on the 4th floor Food Garden of Musinsa Mega Store in Seongsu, Seoul. From a window table, the clear pork gomtang set topped with plenty of tot (hijiki seaweed) and the spicy gomtang set topped with shiitake mushroom were eaten side by side, and both broths were nearly free of fat and light on the palate. Dwaeji Gomtang House is a good pick when you want a quiet bowl of soup away from the crowds in Seongsu's pop-up alleys.
